construction/detour information

Traffic Cone

The City of Lakewood and the MetroParks are updating both of our intersections. It is a large undertaking and is expected to take several months.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, we will post updates and detour information below as it becomes available.

At some points, construction on Detroit will disallow a left turn into our lot if you are coming from the west.  (If you are coming from the south, you can still turn right onto Mathews or into our driveway on Detroit, for now.)  If you are heading to Blackbird from Rocky River or from the park and the left turn is blocked, you will need to either take Sloane around the curve and turn right onto Mathews, OR take Detroit around the bend to take a left onto Riverside and then a left onto Mathews. (See the marked map below.)

Please note: at some point during the renovation our lot access off of Detroit will be permanently eliminated.  We are sorry in advance for all of the inconveniences, and thank you for your patience!
